Is there such thing as the flame retardant transparent paper?

I can make my own wedding favors – small tea lights – and wanted to put some written on the outside of the Candle as "Josh and Rachel '-' October 2, 2010" A bit like this site: If http://www.favorideas.com/learn-about/wedding-favors/decoupage-candle- Wedding favorites / I use plain paper in the paper would catch fire. "Well – no such thing as transparent paper, and you can do house fire-resistant paper. There is something called alum. It is in a grocery store in canning section (used for marinades) Buy a transparent paper and print whatever you want on it before he sleeps with this sort of thing.
